Why This Place Needs Our Support

I

Practice cannot be measured in financial terms alone.

CMZC is more than a retreat center. It is a place dedicated to Zen practice, where people can step away from their daily routines, deepen their practice, and explore new ways of being in the world.

Retreat and residency fees contribute to our operating costs, but they do not cover the full cost of maintaining the center and sustaining the practice that takes place here.

II

Caring for this place is an ongoing responsibility.

Maintaining a residential Zen center in the mountains of Colorado requires continuous care and investment. From maintaining our buildings and infrastructure to protecting the center against wildfire risks, much of this work happens quietly in the background.

It is essential to keeping CMZC a safe and welcoming place for practice, today and in the years to come.

III

The future of CMZC is something we build together.

CMZC has been sustained through the dedication and generosity of people who believe in the importance of Zen practice.

As we look toward the future, we want to ensure that this place remains available to future generations of practitioners.

Every contribution helps share the responsibility of sustaining this place.
