Zentatsu Baker Roshi will begin a new eight-part lecture series, Entering the Path of Zen, on Sunday, May 2nd, through Sunday June 20th. He will speak to the following topics during the series;
May 2nd: Awakening Way-seeking mind
May 9th: New Paths for meditation: The four postures of Zazen
May 16th: Forming and re-forming the bodily mind – Subtle body and Social Body
May 23rd: Religion without belief – Daily life as a site for awakening
May 30th: Basic assumption in yogic worldviews
June 6th: The four tenets of Zen Buddhist practice
June 13th: Zen Mind, Beginners Mind
June 20th: Traditional and modern Buddhism in the West
Each lecture will begin at 8:00 AM (MST) and be followed by a zoom discussion with Baker Roshi at 9:00 PM (MST).
Ryuten Rosenblum Roshi, a Dharma Heir of Zentatsu Baker Roshi, will extend the topic in Lectures on Wednesday evenings* at 6:30 PM (MST), followed by a zoom discussion at 7:30 PM (MST).
*On Wednesday, May 12th, and Wednesday, June 16th there will be no Wednesday evening lecture due to the Practice Weeks being held then at CMZC.
