Details

We invite you to join us for our July Zazenkai (sitting intensive). A Zazenkai is a silent weekend retreat. We follow a sesshin-like schedule; most of the day is dedicated to zazen but includes chanting, a work period, walks, and a dharma talk given by a senior practitioner. We begin the evening of July 19th with a Welcome Dinner, and end on July 21st after Brunch. No prior experience is required to join a Zazenkai. It is a great way to experience your first extended sit, so is a perfect opportunity for newer students. For experienced practitioners, it provides the chance to reinvigorate practice, or just to experience some spaciousness in otherwise busy lives. Please join us for this practice event.
