In this year's Aikido and Zen seminar, we will practice with the relationship between attention and intention. In both our sitting, and in Aikido, we practice with bringing attention fully to the moment. How do we maintain an intention to do so, to acknowledge and feel the circumstances that arise just now? How does that impact the quality of our experience and our response?
In these days together we will practice aikido and zazen, and take part in community life at the Crestone Mountain Zen Center. While some familiarity with aikido and with zen meditation (or any other form of meditation) is helpful, previous experience is not a requirement.
The seminar will begin Thursday evening, September 26th, and end after brunch on Sunday, September 29th. Please join us for this weekend of practice and exploration.
